Memorial Wall
New Memorial Wall is a Permanent Tribute to the Lives of all
Families
“People today are taking extra steps to commemorate the lives of
their loved ones,” says the Moravian Cemetery Board of Trustees.
“The new Moravian Cemetery Memorial Wall will give a dignified,
lasting tribute to the names of our all family members and friends
-- and to the memories evoked by those names.”
The Moravian Cemetery Memorial Wall is the first of its kind ever
built on Staten Island, and perhaps in the entire Metropolitan area.
Every Staten Island family -- regardless of where their loved ones
are interred -- will have the opportunity to inscribe the names of
those loved ones on the Memorial Wall. All name spaces will be equal
in size and lettering style; prices will be determined according to
the area of the wall selected.
“We are very proud of the lasting esteem our Memorial Wall will give
to Staten Islanders’ loved ones,” the Board Said. “This memorial
site is unique, and it adds another distinction to our fine
community.” |
