Moravian Cemetery, 2205 Richmond Road

For over 250 years, the cemetery of choice for Staten Island families, as well as many people around the tri-state area, has been Moravian Cemetery. Widely recognized for its beautifully manicured grounds, lakeside view, and natural knolls and valleys, this non-sectarian cemetery offers a setting of beautiful serenity for all people. The Moravian Cemetery encompasses 113 acres and is the property of the Moravian Church of Staten Island. Its newest development, “The Valley View Indoor Mausoleum,” is part of a continuing tradition of expansion and improvement for the community.

It is a universal experience…that our loved one’s final resting place becomes a precious niche in the world for us. Ideally, the environment of this special place should reflect the continuing beauty of our memories.

At Moravian Cemetery, we respect the need for beauty in a final resting place. Our non-sectarian cemetery is well-known as one of the most picturesque and impeccably maintained memorial sites in the tri-state area.

From the fountain that bubbles amidst our peaceful lake to our Cherry Blossoms to our natural knolls and valleys and meticulously manicured grounds, Moravian Cemetery offers a memorial setting of tranquil aesthetics for your family. The elaborate, striking architecture of our mausoleums and buildings befits such elegant surroundings.

We cordially welcome you to visit Moravian Cemetery. The cemetery office is open Monday thru Friday 9 am to 3 pm. You are also invited to peruse our new Memorial Kiosk and it’s user-friendly computer system, which puts a wealth of information about our cemetery at your fingertips.
